Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate building projects with Office of Physical Plant and design team; submit and coordinate work orders and project requests for emergencies, routine maintenance, and renovations 
  • Coordinate all aspects of safety including chemicals, lab inspections, radiation, building evacuation plans, and COVID requirements 
  • Assign, manage, and track space assignments for departments’ faculty, staff, students, and visitors; project space needs for the future and prepare reports detailing needs
  • Coordinate furniture and equipment moves and deliveries with OPP Labor Crew, Central Distribution, and outside vendors; maintain and manage property inventory; obtain quotes and coordinate payment
  • Maintain key inventory and distribute keys; grant cardswipe access through CCURE and maintain records; serve as Parking Chair for Department

The Ken and Mary Alice Lindquist Department of Nuclear Engineering at Penn State is one of the top ranked nuclear engineering programs in the United States.
