Antoine Waegaert - Materials for Nuclear Power Group
Joined Penn State in the Fall of 2021, after completing a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering at Centrale Lyon, France. Current work focuses on the study of the evolution of 800H alloy's microstructure under ion irradiation as part of the QUICC project (in cooperation with universities, National labs and industry partners). Project goals include developing frameworks and tools for the validation of material in future reactor, particularly when subjected to high doses.
