Ensor gives presentation, Cinbiz shows poster
Brendan Ensor and Nedim Cinbiz traveled to Clearwater, FL for the NuMat 2014 conference. Cinbiz showed off his poster on his thesis research and synchrotron x-ray studies titled "In Situ X-ray Diffraction Study of Radial Hydride Dissolution and Precipitation Behavior". The poster was well received with many interested domestic and international scientists. Ensor gave a successful presentation on his synchrotron work titled "Study of Thin Oxide Layers on Zircaloy-4 Autoclave Corrosion Coupons Corroded at 274°C and 360°C using Synchrotron X-ray Diffraction". The two graduate students, in addition to attending many technical presentations, were also able to enjoy the beachfront location at the Hilton on Clearwater Beach with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.
