Muhammet Ayanoglu visited Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) to investigate the microstructure evolution of 21Cr32Ni alloy irradiated under fast reactor environment. The alloys were irradiated at BOR60 fast reactor in Russia to the nominal doses up to 35 dpa at ~385oC, and shipped back to USA for examination.

During his visit to ORNL, Muhammet also attended to the Modelling-Experimentation-Validation (MeV) Summer School where the important issues were discussed such as; the future of nuclear energy, the commercial development and deployment of the advanced nuclear reactors, material challenges, and the capabilities of advanced manufacturing.
