The relationships we maintain with our corporate friends contribute much to the quality of our academic programs as well as our students' ability to connect with industry representatives for leads on internships, co-op positions and full-time employment.
Advisory Boards
Our advisory boards, the Industry and Professional Advisory Council (IPAC) and the Nuclear Power Advisory Board (NPAB), are made up of representatives from industry, government agencies and academia. These groups help advise the programs and the department on academic issues, current trends and future directions in engineering.
Research & Design Sponsorship
We seek collaborative relationships with your engineering companies to work with our talented students through graduate research opportunities or undergraduate design project sponsorships.
Student Recruitment
We are eager to connect your companies' hiring efforts with our students seeking employment at every level, from internships to full-time, post-graduate employment. One of our biggest annual events is the Networking Reception held in the fall, which is attended by hundreds of our juniors, seniors and graduate students.
